Introduction to using your own Sewing Machine

Come along to learn how to use your own sewing machine and create a beautiful tote bag, just to your liking!

Participants will be given a list of materials i.e. scissors, pins, and fabric.*

Participants must bring their own sewing machine.

(Please bring a packed lunch as there are no cafe facilities on site)

*List of Materials required-

Tote Bag Materials

• Outer fabric – 2 fat quarters
• Lining – 2 fat quarters
• Handles – 1 fat quarter
• Fusible Fleece Batting or fusible interlining (This is optional but will add strength to the bag)
• Sharp scissors
• Measuring tape
• Pins
• Fabric marker/pencil
• Thread (to match or compliment fabric)

Materials can be purchased online at Amazon, Craftswoman fabric store in Carrickfergus, Dunelm Mill, Hobbycraft etc.
