Victorian Easter at Sentry Hill

Enjoy traditional Victorian outdoor Easter activities and unleash your competitive spirit by participating in Egg Bowling, Egg and Spoon Races and Egg Rolling in the garden. Around 3pm there will be the chaotic spectacle of an Egg Dance to see which twinkle-toed ‘Strictly’ fans can dance their way through an egg strewn routine breaking as few as possible on the way!

Indoor traditional craft activities will include Easter Bonnet decorating (spaces are limited on this one so don’t forget to book your slot on arrival), as well as Easter Egg decorating, the opportunity to make an Easter Bookmark with pressed flowers and watch members of the Lace Guild demonstrating their skills. There will also be guided house tours throughout the day introducing the history of Sentry Hill and the family who lived here as well as what Easter during the Victorian period would have been like.

Refreshments will also be available.
