Drawing with Water Soluble Media

Join artist and tutor Colin Woodward for a creative journey exploring the versatile and expressive world of water-soluble drawing media.

Together, we will master these dynamic tools while sketching urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.

Required Equipment
· Sketchbook: 220gsm paper preferred (any size you prefer).
· Watercolour Paper: A4 size, 300gsm (cold-pressed).
· Brushes: A selection of round and flat watercolour brushes.
· Media:
o Derwent Inktense pencils
o Caran d’Ache Neocolor II wax pastels
o Faber-Castell water-soluble graphite pencils
o Standard watercolour pencils

Note: To fully experiment with each medium, it’s recommend purchasing a basic starter set for each item listed above. Amazon offers great, affordable introductory sets for the Derwent Inktense pencils.
