A taster afternoon will take place on Monday 17 July 2023 1 – 3pm for participants to get to know each other and the creative team better ahead of the week long programme.

The Summer School will then take place 9.30 – 4pm Monday 24 to Friday 28 July and 9.30 – 2.30pm on Saturday 29 July – including time for a 1pm showcase performance at Theatre at The Mill.

Are you aged between 10 and 18 years old and dreaming of stepping onstage? Then join Cre8 Theatre in their next youth production of Moana Junior.

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Theatre at The Mill and Cre8 Theatre have joined forces in presenting this exciting all singing, all dancing summer workshop production for young people in the borough.

The cast of young people will spend one week rehearsing the show working towards a final presentation at the end of the week for family, friends, and public.

There will be a full professional creative team on board to guide the young people through the process, which will feature choreography, singing, acting, puppetry and projection.

Places are limited, so we advise those who are interested to register their place on the course ASAP.

Once registered, there will be an introductory workshop session where participants will skill build ahead of the production week, which will also serve as an opportunity for the creative team to hold some informal auditions.
