Ink & Watercolour @ Mossley Mill Nov 2025

In this course our tutor Colin will teach you about watercolour – its unique qualities, various techniques and the use of different surfaces and equipment.
You will paint landscapes, seascapes, architecture and various still lifes. This course will provide you with an encouraging environment to explore, experiment and develop the process of painting; to find your own unique way of using the wonderful medium of watercolour.
List of your own materials. All the below supplies you will need to bring.
-A4 watercolour pad (300gsm and above is better) Watercolour paints (half pans is easier to use) (Winsor & Newton Daler Rowney are trusted makes)
-A few watercolour brushes (Daler Rowney simple range is cheap and very effective)(Some flat edged brushes)
-A3 drawing board
-Roll of masking tape (Asda sell them for 50p)
-Pencil (s)
-Ink pen (s) (with waterproof ink unipin/Fabre castell pitt pens are trusted makes)
-A small sketch book (hobbycraft)
-A water jar
