The Flower on Linen Hapa Zome Project

This is a great opportunity to take part in a unique one day community project at Spinning Yarns. Artist/designer Angela Turkington will teach groups of participants the fun and easy Hapa Zome technique, which involves hammering flowers and leaves onto fabric or paper to create beautiful prints directly from Mother Nature.

Together we will create a permanent linen wall hanging that will be displayed at Spinning Yarns for years to come, using seasonal leaves and flowers.

During each group session participants will work on the communal project as well as creating their own mini range of personal stationary (cards, bookmarks, keyrings) using the Hapa Zome technique.
